About Us
Hi, we’re Andy and Alicia! In the summer of 2024, we bought this stunning 50-acre valley in the heart of the West Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It’s totally off-grid – no mains electricity or water – just wild, untouched countryside, exactly how nature intended.
What some might see as a challenge, we saw as a chance to do something special.
Our dream is to create a peaceful, low-impact luxury campsite where guests can truly switch off, relax, and soak up the beauty of the outdoors – all without harming the land. Everything we bring in is taken away at the end of the season, leaving no trace behind.
Beyond the Campsite – Our Passion for Nature
Hidden Valley Camping is just one part of what we’re doing here. We’re also really passionate about rewilding, biodiversity, and giving the land some love after years of being forgotten.
When we arrived, the valley hadn’t been touched for over a decade. Since then, we've cleared, mowed, fenced, and replanted. In our first year, we planted 1,400 native trees with the Woodland Trust and welcomed 20 friendly sheep to help manage the land naturally.
This is just the beginning, and we’re so excited to share it all with you.
